Can kMobic work on my phone?
kMobic will work on many phones called Java Enabled Phones. Generally, phones with color screens are Java enabled.
If your phone has a built-in camera, then be assured that it is a Java Enabled Phone. Many other phones without a camera are also
Java enabled. To check if your phone is a Java phone: Go to 'Settings', if somewhere under 'Settings' you see 'Java Settings' then your phone is a java phone!
Your phone must also have proper Internet settings for kMobic to work.
How do I put kMobic into my phone?
*.1. Dial 111 (Mascom) , 123 (Orange) or 1333 (be MOBILE) and request for free Internet settings
*.2. Open the phone's browser and enter the following url:www.kmobic.com/download , then press 'Download Now' . The browser will download
a kMobic file and ask you to install it. After you've pressed 'Install' you will find kMobic under 'Applications' or 'Apps' or 'Apps & Games'
depending on your phone model.
*.3. You can now start using kMobic. Itz all FREE of charge.
How do I activate kMobic?
After installing kMobic, you need to activate it before you can start using it. To activate kMobic after installation,
click on any icon on the main screen and you'll be prompted to enter a name, cellphone number and password. Both password and name must be atleast six characters long
and the cell number must be the valid cell number of the phone you are using. After activating kMobic you'll find a welcome message in your kMobic Inbox and
you are now officially part of the revolution! For users who have previously used kMobic version 0.80-Beta or 0.90-Beta: don't register/activate, instead just press 'Login'
and enter your username and password.
How much do I pay to start using kMobic?
You don't pay anything to us in order for you to download and start using kMobic. You only need to have airtime in your phone to
access the Internet and download kMobic. We also don't charge you any subscription in order for you to browse content through kMobic. Hence,
accessing content such as TV Guide, News Updates,BTC Telephone Directory, Sports Updates, Weather, Events, Yellow Pages, or Classifieds is and will always be FREE. Only advertisers need pay us!
Changing Language Settings
Please, note that the default language of kMobic is Setswana. If you don't understand Setswana you may want to change
language settings by following this procedure:
Go to 'Thulaganyo' in the kMobic main screen, then press 'Tobetsa', under 'Thulaganyo' select 'Puo' then press 'Tobetsa'.
Under 'Puo' you choose 'Sekgoa' and press 'Tobetsa'.
